Rest assurred that we will commit ourselves completely to producing your video in exactly the way you want it.
We just think that your event, personal biography, family history or other custom video production, does not have to revolve around the intrusions of a "Lights-Camera-Action" production style. You need never feel like you or your family, friends or clients are being coerced to perform or audition in front of a camera (unless, of course, you like that sort of thing). We make every effort to provide a relaxing and fun atmosphere to assure that the production will reflect the natural personality of the people it intends to represent.
All footage is shot on a Sony HDR-HC1 mini DV camera which is unobtrusive yet fully capable of producing a finished product of the highest quality in practically any lighting conditions, in standard format or wide screen high definition.
The footage is then edited in Pinnacle Studio 10 video editing software that can provide a wide array of video and audio effects as well as DVD authoring tools to provide customized interactive menus that will surely meet or exceed your specifications.
Quotes and pricing are provided on an individual basis since each production has its own unique demands and conditions, but our usual fees are based on a scale of $20-$40/hour for shooting and editing services which means you can expect to pay about $750 - $2000 for a one hour video. This is just a ballpark figure and does not constitute a firm quote but it should give you at least a rough idea of what to expect. Other variables may include (but are not limited to) scanning your personal photos for inclusion along with video footage, travel expenses, voice-overs and royalties on copyrighted material.
We are also able to include footage of your old 8mm and
super 8 home movies along with our digital video.
All videos are burned onto high quality, archival DVD's or can be compressed (resulting in a substantial loss of quality) for transfer to CD or for transmission over the internet. Transfer to standard VHS is also available upon request.
